Æbleskiver (pancake rolls ) are a Danish delicacy that is mainly eaten at Christmas time. The æbleskiver are baked in a special pan so that they get their characteristic round shape. Æbleskiver are enjoyed warm, usually with icing sugar and jam and possibly a glass of mulled wine or coffee.
