Bagsværd Licorice Chili is made with fresh habanero chili fruits and offers an intense, warm, and deep flavor experience. Its characteristic taste comes from using the finest licorice powder and from the traditional Maillard reaction, where milk protein and sugar slowly caramelize in the pot. After cooking, the mixture is poured into molds and left to set overnight before being hand-cut with a sturdy knife and carefully packaged.

Ingredients: Sugar, glucose syrup, sweetened condensed milk, fully hydrogenated palm kernel oil, powdered raw licorice, chili: 1.3% fresh habanero chili, ammonium chloride, sea salt, vegetable emulsifier: mono- and diglycerides, color: vegetable carbon, surface treatment (shellac).
