OTA is a well known and loved brand! - with 100 years behind it and still current!

The brand was born on Sjælland in Denmark in 1915 and it is actually a bit of a funny story: In 1898 the brand started under the name 'Avena' - it is 'oats' in Latin - but since you can not have the exclusive right to a Latin word, it had to happen something. A nationwide competition was launched to find a new name for the good products. Alma Rasmussen suggested 'OTA' and it is no secret that she won the competition and the annual prize that came with it, to come up with the fantastic name!
