Blomberg’s Glögg Extract contains wonderful traditional spices such as cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, and vanilla, creating the perfect Christmas flavour. The extract is ideal for preparing homemade glögg during the festive season. Pour half a litre of mulled wine extract into a saucepan and add a whole bottle of red wine – preferably a rich, sun-ripened wine from Spain or Italy. Heat gently, making sure the mixture does not boil. For an extra kick and a stronger mulled wine, you can add a little schnapps, cognac, or port wine to taste.
You can also use the extract to prepare a delicious non-alcoholic glögg by replacing the red wine with 900 ml of blackcurrant cordial mixed fruit cordial.
