No Christmas without "pebernødder" - pepper nuts. This has been the case in Denmark since the 16th century. According to Karen Volf, the Christmas feeling is baked with cloves, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg. That is the recipe for true Christmas joy.
Ingredients: Wheat flour, sugar, vegetable fat (rapeseed oil, palm oil) cane sugar syrup, spices (cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, nutmeg, ginger) (non-EU) raising agents (E503, E450, E500) whey powder (from milk) salt.
May contain traces of eggs, hazelnuts and peanuts.
Store dry and not too hot.
